where to mount prop valve

Does the prop valve have to be lower than the master cylinder?
I have converted to manual brakes and cant use the factory bracket to hold it. I have a good spot to put it but it will be even hieght with mc or a little high. Will this be alright?

Does not matter the height.

I'll show you my intention on where I am trying to fit mine In-Cockpit. I plan to have the rear line spliced and fittings flared onto the hardline just behind the trans x-member mount area on the drivers side of the subframe.

From there I will have 3an braided lines running up into the center console where the vavle will be mounted in reach of the driver at all times for on-the-fly bias control.

Valve **** will be installed on drivers side so passengers can not inadvertantly turn the **** without my knowing (on accident or on purpose just not knowing what it does)

I have mine close to where Dean put his except mine is in the console storage box. Installed it by splicing into the rear brake line and some careful brake tubing bending. It is still within reach from the driver seat but keeps it from being bumped, stepped on, or kicked.
