Best Rotor/ Pad combo
I am considering new rotors (front and rear) as well better pads. I have looked around and read ads for cross slotted and drilled rotors as well as titanium and ceramic pads. Are there any great advantages or disadvantages to either and how is the durability on each type? And is bigger rotors really better thanks.
I highly recommend Stillen MetalMatrix pads and there rotors are very decent quality also.
I still run them on a few of my other vehicles and I was very happy with them on the Camaro until I outgrew them and needed a larger system to control heat better. My car is braking 60-0 in about 100ft flat and the 10.5's could not handle the temps from that performance level without warping rotors. The last rotors I had on the car though were Powerslotsd and they are terrible, the Stillen rotors are much stronger iron.
I run Stillen pads on every car I own and I would still put them on the Wilwoods if only Stillen made some to fit- they don't so I am resorting to an EBC green that was terrible reliabilty and perdictabilty on the 10.5" system but decent under the temps on the 13's.

And if you want to see what that IMSA 300ZX looks like under the hood its about an 850HP twin turbo V6 Trans Am car. I see it run locally here often at Calif Speedway at the vintage races.
Yes V6's are very light and fast
