brake calipers
well i have an 84 firebird i have four wheel disc brakes and my proportioning valve is going bad or is bad idk yet my bleeder screws are not breaking free if i eliminate my valve what will be the consiquences of this action?

Proportioning valves are used to control rear brake pressure, particularly during hard stops. When the pressure to the rear reaches a specified level, the proportioning valve stops the flow of the fluid to the rear brakes. It keeps the front and rear brakes in balance. If you take it off the rear brakes might lock up.

You'd need some type of prop valve in there, either stock or adjustable.
