rear brake problems

Hey guys i have an '87 iroc with four wheel disk. I just installed new e-brake cables and adjusted it correctly. now everytime i pull on the ebrake i can only feel a slight drag and when i try to stall my car it feels like its letting the rear tires spin way to easily. I have no idea what it could be. any comments suggestions?

My guess is that the calipers are frozen on the e-brake adjuster screw, this is a common problem on the older calipers and is cured with a recall kit.

Perhaps the new caliper didn't have the recall kit. I've read that some do and some don't.
