drum to dics

Made the coversion to 89 9 bolt. The braking power should be 50-50 as a search gave me this info? Is the proportional valve 3/8?

I meant to say 3/16. Can any body recomend a proportional valve to me. Old valve is 70/30 with front dics and originally rear drums. Is that correct. Braking did'nt seam to bad last fall as I remember.Has anybody just kept old valve and been sastisfied with their braking.

I'd just get a valve for a 4-wheel disk car. You probably won't notice if you have bad rear braking unless you lock up the wheels sometimes.
Also, there is a residual (sp?) check valve that I thought was built into the master cylinder. It keeps a little pressure in the rear lines. This was designed to work against the heavy spring pressure of your drums but it will make your disks drag. I can't remeber where the valve is, hopefully someone can chime in hear, but you need to make sure it's removed.
