Get a new master cylinder. Remanufactured MCs are known to be troublesome. I recently had a new MC put in. Night and day difference from the original (107,000 miles on the orig.).
I have avoided Pep Boys all my life because of the nasty stories I've heard about them.

Good deal? you get what you pay for, cheap price is generally cheap parts. Good for daily driving, but don't look for any performasnce value above stock factory new pads and rotors.
You want really good front brake pads? Drive over to Stillen on Airway in Costa Mesa and get some metal Matrix Stillen front brake pads. The absolute best street/light track brake pads I have ever found for daily use and low to raised autox temps and absolutely no fade in autox. They have the most predictable brake pedal feel you will find, very smooth and large sweet spot. Pads like EBC greens are bity and unpredictable until warmed fairly, then they fade at about 600*.
