RJ65 Rear Disk Question
when changing rear pads, are they the same pad as the front? (154's?)
also is a special tool need to compress the rear caliper?
What size rotor can i upgrade to?
can i get a bracket and easily add LS1 rotors/calipers or or 1le's?
would i need different e-brake calbes, hoses etc.?
just wondering what the rear dis brake options are, and how easily they can be done/afforded
this is on a 88 formula 10 bolt rear

The pistons in those "old" style calipers twist in, you'll need the tool for it or a pair of needle nose pliers and a steady hand will work as well. You can't really increase the size of these rotors as the caliper is bolted in a fixed location. As for upgrades to these brakes, install the recall kit, upgrade the pads and rotors. For what it's worth, I'd still recommend the upgrade to 12" PBRs which give you more options with pads and rotors.
