Replacing Drum brakes

Is there a picture or diagram of a drum brake from an Iroc, so i know how everything goes (I already took both sides apart because I'm sanding and painting and mechanical arms and other things).

Also, how can I depress the parking brake spring to get the arm back on? it was a lot of work getting it off.

<title>AutoZone.com | Repair Info | GM Camaro 1982-1992 Repair Guide | Brakes

There are tools specially designed to help get the springs back on, and get them off easier - a set of brake tools like $15

MAKE SURE you don't get the adjusting assemblies mixed up from left to right (pass side vs. driver side) - otherwise, you'll be tightening your drum brakes everytime you brake forward, instead of when you brake backwards.

wow - something went wrong there - sorry!

I was always told when you do drum brakes to do one side at a time so if you forget where something goes you can look at the other side to get an idea where it goes. That and so you dont mix parts side to side
