Master cylinders the same?

I searched and found a couple of threads but I need more info.I just swapped out my drum rear for a disc.I got the prop valve and rearend off the same car so I know they match.I pulled my old master cylinder (part # 18006814 A50) and I got another master for disc/disc from a friend, that part # was the same as mine, are they the same for drum and disc?Right now with the new one my pedal goes to the floor and my brake light comes on.I have bled the system 3 times now.It stops but now really well,or safe.Any info?

The prop valve and rear came out of an 86 iroc,if that makes a difference. These are the #'s on the side of the prop valves I have
The one I took off the car - NC-31-KH-2588
The one I got with the other master cylinder - MB-35-KH-1669
The one from the 86 Iroc - MB-33-KH-066 6
