10 bolt backing plate orientation

What is the orientation of the backing plate, flat side inboard or outboard. From pictures I found here it looks like the flat side is outboard. Also what is the clock position of the caliper?

I don't have room in my garage to pull the axles after I put the rear end back in the car so trying to get it right the first time. Replacing the rear end and waiting on PBR calipers to arrive so I can't install them to verify my accuarcy.
Thanks for the help.

The curved edge needs to go toward the inside, flat part outside. Driver's side caliper will be at 4-5 O'clock, Passsenger will be 7-8 O'clock.
