new rotors

well lately it sounds like my passanger side rotor is ready to fall off everytime i make a left turn. It started happening after i did the wheel bearing, so i did it again today along with putting on a new rotor. Now when i was finishing up, and putting in the cotter pin, i noticed that it was a very very tight squeeze for the cotter pin to get in with that cap that goes on the nut on. If i take that cap off the cotor pin will squeeze in with relative ease, but once that caps on, its really tight..is it supposed to be this tight? I made sure the rotor was pushed as far onto the spindle as well. I dont know why, but it just has been bugging me, mainly b/c the original cotter pin was mangled and i couldnt get it in that tight of a squeeze, so i had to use a finish nail for the time being...

That sentence makes it sound like you’re
putting on the cap before the pin.
Anyway it’s standard procedure
to cut one leg on the pin after
it’s in. Otherwise the cap rubs it
and makes a noise.
Happy Racing!

If people drove any slower
they’d be going backwards.
