Master cylinder and Breaks

Ok this might sound stupid but i installed new calipers and pads on the front, bled the drivers side fine, but the passenger side is not getting any fluid whatsoever, half of the master cylinder is empty, half full...which part of the cylinder is for the front breaks and which is for the back? or is it split by sides? thanks

did you bench bleed the master cylinder? This is very important. Both halfs of the master cylinder should have fluid. Its separated front and back. Did you replace the break hoses too?

umm if your car is disk up front n drum out back the half closest to the firewall supplies the fluid for the front brakes, but if your not gettin any fluid its because u ran the front resevoir dry, which means u have to take the master cylinder off and bench bleed it now..
