lt1 ebrake trouble...

i went and got ebrake cables for a 92 bird wiht disk brakes and put them in on my lt1 rear end, and now one of them is tite and the other isnt tight at all so only one of the cables stays in the junction block where it hooks to the main cable to go up to the lever, i dont get it... but the cable on the drivers side is also tighter fitting then the cable on the pass side.

Did you get the same part number? Sounds like you have one first design and one second design which are different lengths.

The distance from the bracket that holds the forward end of the cable to the cable backet on the calipers should be the same and therefore no difference in length, that's why I suspect different cables...regardless of the 4th gen rear. Take them off and lay them side by side and see what you get.
