I recently had my rear disc calipers in the back replaced about a month ago, now I've been noticing that there is a click in the rear of the car if i depress my brake pedal about halfway down, could this be related to the calipers or something different?

 

could be brake related...does the car shimmy in the rear at all during braking?

 

No, sometimes it seems the click is in different places though. Tonight it sounded like it was coming from the middle of the car, might be my transmission or something clicking. When I had my car fixed up they did alot of other things too, maybe I'm just a hypocondriac for my car and I'm looking for something wrong like I used to do with my Ford.

 

disc or drum in the rear?

 

I am having the same problem. sounds like a ticking or a metal to metal scratching noise that pulsates when braking. I have a disc rear. Does anyone think it could be from the e-brake pads?

I think it actually stopped now, it hasn't done it in awhile. Sometimes it happened when making a left hand turn but I did some complex swerving and made it stop, maybe it was because my car was sitting over the weekend. I remember when I was little my dad would always complain that it sounds like his tires are hitting something when he turns, like they're rubbing up against the wheel-well or something. He was already having problems with the hood louvers rusting when the car was brand new, joy, I can't wait. I should probably just get the SS hood.

 

My rear brakes click when i come to a stop also...
