Hard spoungey peddle

I just did my front pads and rotors because my peddle was feeling soft i used cross drilled rotors and hawk pads there is about 200 miles on them so far. But when I press the peddle it feels spoungy then hard and takes time to stop. I blead my brakes last year any ideas?

Also check your brake fluid.

How long are the brake hoses good for i replaced my fronts a few years ago there is about 45,000 miles on them. When I did the brakes and inspected everything it all appeared ok. The fluid is topped off. I am haveing what appears to be Vacuume problems in stop and go traffic and at idle at a light could that maybe cause it?

Could be a leak in the brake booster itself or the vacuum hose to the booster is loose or damaged.
