Anyone try to remove the 'Break booster line filter'

Hi gang,

Do anybody ever try to removed the Filter Element on the break booster line, that kind of little round & black whit a straight an a 90 tube on the side,

Hard to find here but I finaly find it at Brossard Performance

Is that normal that if I removed this filter and I plug the vacuum on the 'booster oneway valve' that my car goes really wrong, no trottle responce and just hesitation

If it is just a filter, why it affecte the carb so much!!!

I have a 355 sbc whit a 1407 carb, my booster line is connect right on the base of my carb

Thanks a lot

Yes, after 1 hour or more that the engine was shut down, I try to replace my one-way valve right on the booster and I see that it was having many vacuum in there so I let it there !!
