Are the front and rear pads the same?
I'm sure someone probably has asked this but I have an 87 IROC and I am planning to buy some Hawk HPS pads. The Hawk site lists front and rear as the same part number: HB119F.594. Summit says that that those pads are only for the rear and I also checked Jegs and they list that p/n as front pads. Jegs also lists a whole other p/n for rear pads. Anyone out there can help me out?

I went to Advance Auto Parts this afternoon and they also told me that their pads (cheap Wearever brand) had the same part number for front and rear.
Is there anyone who has bought Hawks for all 4 corners and know what part numbers they used?

If you have the older 10.5" disk brakes then yes the front and rear pads are physically the same size. Some brake pad companies might use a different pad compound for the front and rear.
