sticky brakes

I read a small article in a recent high performance pontiac magazine about how the brakes on the thirdgens tend to stick because is the stock line routing making them stretch and bend too much. Now I know that collapsed brake hoses can cause a caliper to lock. I went through that when I first got the car and went ahead and replaced everything on the front except for the booster. I just put rubber lines on. The pedal is nice and firm but im still getting a drag that sometimes is there but sometimes isnt or isnt as much. When I was at the track it seemed like i was trying to push a full size truck. That and the sticking gets worse when I cut the wheels harder. So does anyone think that I am a candidate for the stainless brake lines? or maybe I should try to reroute the line somehow?
