Transmission: A4, A4, slated to be a T56
If you can fit them go with the Z51 brakes...they will have a more modern caliper design, larger pad surface area, and the larger rotors.

I measured 7.75" from the spindle center to the outside of the caliper so it's my best guess that some 17" wheels will fit, some won't. C6s have 18" front wheels so I know they will fit in there
