82 camaro brakes?
Hey guys I have a question about my brakes. I have all new brakes on my 82 Camaro berlinetta the only thing that not new is the brake booster and the master cylinder. Well every time I hit the brake threes a ton of travel before I start stopping. Is it because my brakes suck *** ***** or is something wrong?, thanks guys

first thing is to make sure there is no air in the system by bleeding it.
when you are sure you have no air in it, check the adjustment on the rear brakes, too loose will cause a low petal, too tight will cause the rear brakes to drag & overheat the shoes.

if you've got a lot of travel in the pedal, 95% of the time it's due to air in the system. A $6 bottle of brake fluid to completely flush the system will take this out of the equation, if it's not the problem (but i'm guessing it is).
Just put a bottle of brake fluid, upside down, in your reservoir, and open your bleeder screws, gravity flush it for a while. Or If you want, you can do the whole "open, pump, close, release" etc style of bleeding.
