drum not working, conversion?
just found out my rear drum dont work. i was backing up and turning around in my drive way and when i went from R to D, the rear started to spin bad in the stones so i got on the brake and nothing happened, i mean i had it to the floor. i wasn't moving, but the left rear buried itself up the the chassis in the stones, i think i may have a sink hole! it was kinda enbarassing, with the car sitting all f-ed up looking in my driveway
, had to jack the thing up and jam some plywood under the wheel to get out
. anyway, is there an easy way to determine if the line is clogged or if the piston in the drum is shot? thanks
on another note, who here has done the ls1 rtear disc swap outlined in the tech section? how much of a problem is it and how well does it work? how long did it take to do?

did the throttle hang? why was it spinning and not stopping? but, that's how you do a stand still burnout, anyway...hold the brakes and give it some gas...the rears don't get near as much pressure as the fronts do.

i was just backing up, went from R to D, and when it got into gear, it shocked the tires a little like it always does, but the driverside rear kept spinning, the engine was at idle and i was flooring the brake and it wouldnt stop, it stopped with the e-brake, but not the regular one.

Most likely cause:
your rear cylinder(s) is seized.
Fast easy job. “Just do it”
