Brake upgrades

I am curious what will "bolt up" to a factory LO3 91 Camaro RS. I will most likely have to upgrade to a 12 bolt rear end so I have no idea where to go from there and I would like to run a a larger diameter rotor w/ multiple piston calipers in the front. I've read all the upgrades people have listed. what I was wondering was if any spindles would bolt up (or with minor modification) that had sealed bearings. Or even if somebody knew of a company that made a sealed bearing kit for the front. the reason for this is that #1 it's an inconveniece and #2 rotor options increase greatly if the bearing hub isn't involved. I'd like to run the stock 16" wheels if possible. I'm looking into a full Spohn suspension in the front. so I'm trying to find what my options are. thanks, anything helps.

- i just don't want to spend $1000 or more on a front brake kit that doesn't improve the overall technology of my brakes (servicable bearings are dumb - cheap but dumb), and i don't trust them for high speeds

bigbrakeupgrade.com has complete ls1 and corvette c5 bolt in front brake assemblies.

when you order the 12 bolt they usually ask what kind of brake you plan on using so they can install the right axle flange, i believe ls1 style brakes are an option, and you can pick up a complete used set on ebay for around 200$, and they should bolt right on, you will need custom emergency brake cables, and brake hoses?

C5s won't fit your 16" wheels but the LS1s will, I make a setup using a bit of both..a 12" LS1 rotor paired to the stronger C5/C6 caliper and it will fit into 16" wheels. There's also 13" C4 HDs 13" Wilwoods. LMK which direction you'd like to go and we can get you hooked up.

I definately am looking into keeping the 16" wheels from the factory. unless I can find Identical ones in 17's. but thanks for the info, i'll have to check out that website. I'm not looking to dump a whole lot of cash at the moment but i want to know what i'm gettin into on the build.
I like the idea of using the LS1 12" fronts and would like a disc rear. poss. Ls1 conversion also. but I am not sure if a 12 bolt will accept those rotors? reason being i need to be able to find brakes at a local parts shop (napa carquest etc.). although I'm a really big fan of wilwoods, I just don't want to have to order parts any time i have to do anything.

That's what I'm here for, I usually have plenty of parts on hand to help you guys out. For your 16"s I can recommend 13" C4 HDs, 12" LS1s, or the 12" LS1/C6 setup I offer, mating the LS1 rotor to a C6 caliper which is stronger than the LS1 caliper. What's your budget looking like? With any of these setups you're looking at $700-900 depending on options. With any kit, price out your TOTAL cost, including shipping and parts included and look for the best deal. For example, setups I provide include braided brake lines STANDARD whereas others may charge you extra, keep that in mind.

As for the rear LS1s, a 12 bolt will accept those brakes as long as the axle flanges are GM small flanges...Strange or Moser rear?
