Practicality of replacing my brake booster?
So I am restoring the car, putting a new engine in, the works basically. I have just about everything out of the engine bay/firewall, including the booster.
My question is, how often do these go bad? It's off now, is it worth replacing? I've always felt my brakes were so so, even with the 4wdb setup with pbr's out back. The car would ease to a stop under heavy pedal and then lock. Never set the car down well at all. So I am thinking since I am putting upgraded brakes all around, lines, rotors, master, prop, that I might as well replace the booster too>!?!?!
What do you guys think? Thanks fellas

If cash is not an issue and its already off get a new one. The booster only helps you apply the service brakes, and has nothing to do with how the other parts perform.
