Need help with Brake Upgrade!

Hi!
I have some serious problems with my brake system.
First of all:
1988 T/A 5.7 Disc+Drum Setup
Front Discs: Raybestos PG+
Pads: Raybestos Brutestop
Drums: Raybestos ( ?? )

I changed my brake fluid some weeks ago, new brake lines, new drums with pads + cylinders.
Front Brakes are about 1 year old.

The brake performance is sooo bad, the brakes/wheels block almost immediately.

So I want to upgrade my brakes to better ones.
At summit i've seen those stainless steel front disc upgrade kits [ SSB-A2350003 ]. Worthless? Good deal??
Or should I go with PowerStop crossdrilled rotos & hawk pads?

Hope you can help me, my german F-Body buddies couldn't! (most of them use raybestos or original replacement stuff)

For a little more than those calipers check this out. If you've at least 16" rims that is.

Big Brake Upgrade Kit:

I just ordered a Premium Kit and I'm just waiting to have them delivered.
