1le swap?

i want to upgrade the brakes on my formula sometime in the near future but i want to know how expensive the swap generally is and what kind of problems i would run into, or could it be cheaper just to put a 4th gen rear on my car that already has disk brakes, woulkd my stock 16" wheels fit over the brakes?

The "1le swap" usually refers to the front brakes, not the rears. The rear disks that 1LEs had were just standard rear disks.

Yes, 16" wheels will work.

That's true, but people ususally refer to the rears either as 1LE's or PBR's.

i just wanna get a set of disks on my rear instead of the drums. which quite frankly don't do anything and are a pain to have to adjust all the time.

It is not majorly difficult to convert drums to disks it you have a good drill and a sawsall. A current popular choice is converting to LS1 rear disks.

There are several threads and articles on the subject of drum-disk conversion on this site.
