parking brake adjustment

I'm having a problem finding the parking brake adjustment bolt/whatever on the underbody, I was wondering if anyone had a picture of the underbody showing whereabouts. I have an 1986 v6 camaro.

Thanks guys,

Matt

Are you just talking about tightening it or loosening it? The adjustment i used was in the console attached to the actual emergency brake arm. There are slots there where you can make the cable tighter or looser. There might be one under the car, but I am unaware of that one.

Under the car above the drive shaft. A is always a good idea.

does that mean you have to drop the driveshaft to adjust it?

Dropping the drive shaft makes the process MUCH easier.

Yes. Four small bolts at the rear of the shaft, pry or yank the U-joint out of the pinion yoke without loosing the caps, pull the shaft rearward so that it comes out of the trans. You'll lose a bit of fluid. Personally, I'd scribe the shaft/pinion yoke so that the shaft went back in exactly as it was (avoiding possible vibration issues.).
