C4 HEAVY DUTY brakes
Ive been searching this subject for a while but i still have a request.
Im looking at buying the parts from rockauto and i found the rotors i need, but im having a hard time finding the correct calipers i need in that sea of calipers they list. i already have the c4 conversion bracket that mounts to the modifyed spindle, and the old rotors are going to be lathed down and have new longer studs installed.
I just need to know exactly what caliper set to buy that has all the hardware and brake pads included so i can just bolt the caliper to the conversion bracket and hook up the brake lines. i found a thread that was supposed to have all the part numbers but they wernt there anymore.
Also i read that the c5 and ls1 brake upgrades had problems when the wheel was turned to full lock. The control arm interfered with the brakes. Is this a problem with the C4 brake upgrade?

Hi Tara. There's no interference issues with the HDs, I run them myself.
Order calipers for a 1996 year model, they all got HDs in '96. If you need any parts, I have 4-5 full HD sets in the shop and all parts such as hubs and brackets to go with them and I'm right up the road from you, so to speak.

Hi Cash, my apologies for not getting to you. I'm still catching up on things. I'll do my best to get to you this week. I just got some new HD brackets in as well so hopefully I have all you need on hand.
