are prop valves internally the same?
are prop valves internally the same?
so i finally swapped in my 9 bolt rear inplace of the old 10 bolt open/drum setup i originaly pulled the prop valve from the same car that the 9 bolt came from so im installing it when i realize that the the line from the prop to the master cylinder is crossthreading at the prop valve, so i decided to stop, and remove it.
while it was off the car i pulled the internals out, the springs and plungers and proceded to remove the internals from the old prop valve so the new ones can be intalled in its place......... the spring and plunger on for the front brakes looked the same. and the rears were different but fit right in.
so my question is.... internally in the prop valve, is it all the same holes and passages and what not, and the only difference is the plungers and springs installed?

Re: are prop valves internally the same?
i just upgraded my brake pads to hawk hps and the front stops like no other. so now all that left is too clean up the rear rotors with some sand paper cleaan em off with brake cleaner and install some hawk hps pads in the rear and i'll know if the pro valve works, right now i can barely stop the car from rolling with the parking brake, somne new pads should take care of that
