Hey Guys,
I tried the search feature and nothing comes up.
I have an 82 Camaro and my brakes have always been very low. I have disks on all 4's. Once the pedal travels about 3-4 inches the brakes work and apply well. When the brakes applies, the level of the pedal is lower than the throttle pedel. The brakes are their but engagement is low.
I have bled the brakes and even had firestone charge me 50 buck to bleed them and the pedel is still low. I installed a M/C off of a LS1 Camaro thinking it would solve the problem, but nothing has changed. I checked the rod/plunger that engages the M/C and it moves as soon as the pedal is depressed, so there is no play between them, and the distance from the M/C when it is installed is no more that an 1/8".
Has anyone had this issue with their camaro? Is this normal? What is the Fix? I plan to upgrade to the LS1 Brakes, but I am not sure this will resolve the low pedal issue.
Any help is appreciated,

Hey Oscar..if the pedal is consistent but too low, maybe a longer pedal push rod will work?
