I have stock drum rears and stock fronts. Picked up a rear from a 2000 LS1 F-body and I am trying to figure out what car I should get a proportioning valve from. Does it have to be a 1LE thirdgen car or a standard rear disk car? I plan on doing LS1 fronts sometime also if that makes a difference.

Your disc/drum proportioning vale is the same one used in 89-92 disc/disc setups, so you dont have to change it. 89-97 f-bodies used the same style rear brakes. 98-02 LS1's have a different setup, with an intregal parking brake in the hub. You will need to fabricate a mount for the LS1 parking brake cables as they wont mount to the stock places.. Search this forum for more info.
