What is the threaded fitting, front brake, rubber line

The female end of the rubber hose on the front brakes from the calipers is what fitting?

Is it the Metric 10x1 bubble? Or a -3AN Female?

I'm confused.

I'm putting my stock brakes on a project car and trying to adapt the old rubber lines from the calipers to 3/16 Inverted Flare.

Thanks
-Paul

Yes it is metric bubble flare. I don't know for sure what size.

It is GUARANTEED NOT to be any -AN size.

Rather than do all that "adapting" so you can use old disposable hoses, just go buy new rubber hoses for a 82-83 car; or for any other older car, whose hoses might fit better than the SUPER LONG ones for these cars. The steel lines in cars before about 84 had 3/16" IF fittings.

10mmx1.0 female is the correct size.

Weird because the new hose doesn't look like it's bubbled or rounded... it looks straight more like an AN.

My project car needs the long lines. That's why I was going to try and use stockers.

Will the old 82/83 line fit the caliper fine?

It's not -AN. Believe that. There are no -AN fittings on these cars from the factory, anywhere.

Those calipers were the same from 1969 until whenever they quit using them.
