Front Brakes & Bearings
Just replaced the front rotors and pads. I noticed the day after riding to work that out from the left front wheel well I had what looked like smoke/steam coming out. I thought perhaps some grease from my bearing job may have slung off and was burning off. For some reason I decided to feel the wheel around the main cap area (as I was in the parking lot) and the wheel felt warm. My ride to work is about 5 miles, so it seemed odd to me. Should the wheel feel warm? Is it possible the bearings are too tight or the calipers aren't working right and causing extra friction? Has anyone felt there wheels after a brief ride to see if they feel warm/hot? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Jeff

Re: Front Brakes & Bearings
if i were you you i'd backtrack and re-check everything . clean and re-inspect bearings . small bearing pits , dirt , any trash , can cause big problems . hope you find a fix .
