rear baer track claw question

rear baer track claw question

i just installed a set of 12" track claw discs on my 89 rs vert. i couldn't be happier with the improvement over drums there's a big difference even with the 13" set up in front. but after a few shake-down runs i noticed some unusual sounds. i pulled the calipers and found scoring marks on the calipers. the kit installs with some washers between the caliper and mounting bracket so i tried moving the washers to the other side of the bracket to change the position of the caliper. when i tested them again the other side of the caliper contacted the rotor while cornering. has anyone else used this setup and had similar results?

No experience with Baer; however, a shim (or thinner washer) may be required to center the caliper over the rotor. Check the following link for more info:
