Brake lines, and prop valve
Brake lines, and prop valve
I am going to put all new brake lines on my car, I have a line lock that will go in with.
I know the line lock needs to go after the prop valve, but I want to replace the factory one with an adjustable one.
My question is can I run the front straight off the master thru the lock to the brakes, and just put a adjustable prop on the rear, or is that to much for the front?

Re: Brake lines, and prop valve
You'll need to mod the prop valve a bit: remove the plug on the end of the rear section of the prop, remove the serrated O-ring and spring from the plunger and reinstall the plug. Then run the adjustable valve downstream of the stock prop valve. The line lock will need to go on the front line and should have nothing to do with the rear lines.
