Caliper seizing up
So my front passenger caliper seems to lock up after hard braking.. Figuring it was the caliper itself, I replaced it. Same thing still happening. Could this be an issue with the master cylinder? Any other ideas?

Ah cool, doesn't sound too bad. I'll pick up some new lines shortly as they did appear to be the original ones. What are the chances that the metal lines in the engine bay would need replacing?

Re: Caliper seizing up
THANK YOU FOR THE SUGGESTIONS ON THE BRAKE LINES!!! I just finished replacing it and OMGWTFBBQ my car drives straight again, plus my brake pads don't bloody light on fire. I was heading out for dinner tonight and smoke started pouring out from my brakes... They must have grabbed real good after I had to do some hard braking. Rushed to the parts store (in second gear doing 50kph so I wouldn't have to use my brakes often) and got the new line. Daaaamn its nice when things work out.

FInally revisited my old assumptions and had a terrifying thought.
Some mistakes you only need to make once.

Also, for the record, for anyone replacing brake lines, go ahead and replace the calipers too. Once you're there with the line off, it's SO easy to pop the new caliper in and they're a whole $10 each with a core. Unless you've got those crazy 1LE front brakes in which case you're on your own!
