brake light on dash...
So i have the brake light on, on my dashboard. I had the console off a few days ago could i have unhooked a wire or does it mean something else. I put some brake fluid in and it's plenty full.

Could have pinched the copper trace on the mylar circuit board on the back of the cluster. I did the same thing and found the trace next to the light was pinched against a ground trace.

also check to see if the wire conn. came off of the e-brake switch. IIRC this will turn on the light.

That's just a ground wire that completes the circuit when the e-brake handle is pulled. There's no place for the ground to go if it's disconnected, on the other hand, if its shorted against something.... Been through that hassle trying to figure out why my hatch wouldn't release...
