Vacuum reserve question

Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.27
Vacuum reserve question
So I've just about decided to go with a vacuum reserve canister to offset my poor braking abilities with my motor setup, but I have a question. Do I need to run a "special" canister like Jegs', Summit's, or Comp Cam's, or can I use any canister that can hold a vacuum? I was gonna retrofit a reserve from another vehicle, like one of these:

Thanks, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something in those overly expensive canisters. $60 for a coffee can with fittings.
