How to remove parking brake mechanism on PBR's
So im rebuilding my caliper and im trying to get the parking brake thing off the back of the caliper so it makes it easier to work. Do you even have to remove it to rebuild a caliper? and if so how to you get at that weird screw that holds it on. It is covered by a plastic nipple but it has a weird head, i took the nut off but the bolt wont budge.

You don't need to remove the spring and brake lever but it helps in getting the caliper completely clean. Review the following link and see if it helps.
