PBR/LT1 rear caliper on LS1 rear disc?
I searched for quite a while, and couldn't find anything that would answer this question. I would prefer to have the larger diameter and thickness rotor of the LS1, but would prefer the smaller piston of the LT1 (to keep bias close w/ C5 fronts). I'm assuming this won't work because I think the LS1 is a drum in hat e-brake setup, so not sure how the LT1 would actuate that. Never hurts to ask...
Thanks,
Jeff

I'm pretty sure won't work, with no modifacations. Hopefully someone who knows for sure will chime in. I put LS1 brakes on a LT1 rear, had to pull the axles and swap backing plates. The LS1 e brakes are a drum inside the rotor, totally different than the LT1 brake.

Won't work. The LT1 caliper isn't wide enough to hold the LS1 rotor thickness (.81" LT1 vs. 1.0" LS1)

OK, thanks guys. I wasn't sure if there was enough space, but I trust Ed since he lives and breathes F-body brakes
