E-brake problem
I searched and found nothing on this. My e-brake light comes and goes as it pleases when the brake is off, and sometimes feels pretty sluggish as if it's pulling against me. My gas mileage took a significant drop and I can't afford it even if gas is dropping. I don't think that'll last much longer anywho. But if anyone has an idea as to what could be causing that, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Re: E-brake problem
That light will come on not only with the E-brake, but if there are pressure problems in the lines. I believe this could indicate that you have unequal pressures on each side of the switch.
I am not a brake expert, hopefully someone else will chime in. If your gas mileage is suffering, I would put the car up on stands and try to spin the tires by hand to see if a caliper is sticking on any of your wheels (or wheel cylinder). You could have a bad caliper, or a collapsed line that doesn't let the pressure release. So I would start the car, apply the brakes, then see if the wheels will spin free in the air.
