Stuck brake caliper?

i have a 91 firebird 305 tbi and i hear a bad squeal. i took the passender side tire off and no problems.. the rotor spins fine without a hitch.. i took the driver side tire off and i found the problem with the squeel. apperently the brakes are really snug on the rotor and when spinning the rotor makes the bad squeel.. the brakes are almost brand new.. it is more difficult to turn than the passenger side.. can you guys tell me how to fix that? lol

Re: Stuck brake caliper?

Whe where the calipers last replaced? It could be a caliper, but also could be the rubber line going to the caliper. I replaced the calipers and brakes to only find the rubber hoses had started to seperate on the inside causing one caliper to stick. Replaced my rubber lines, and now i have even straight line braking. - RUSS

Re: Stuck brake caliper?

more likely than not its the brake flex line . they collapse internally , blocking pressure & not releasing press. . my advice would be to change all of your (3) rubber flex lines . good luck .

Re: Stuck brake caliper?

I currently am having the same problem. Can it cause my bearings to go bad? cause there is a loud buzzing/grinding coming from my passenger side wheel.
