Im installing C6 ZO6 brakes...
I purchased the C6 ZO6 6 piston calipers and 14" rotors the other day, I already mounted the caliper to be certain they would clear my 18" C5 ZO6 wheels. I dont have any brake lines yet and am unsure which ones will work...
heres a few pics so far..

bought them from the local Chev dealer.... I have an account there so the price was pretty decent.

What width spacer are you running? I'm putting C5 rotors on the front of mine, and might go with a C6 wheel there too. I was thinking the 3/8" of rotor would make a total of 1 7/8" movement with a 1.5" spacer if that's enough.

Ditch the c6 stuff and stick with that cts brembo.
And some rotors that aren't vaned the wrong direction.

2" spacers...
and I already sold the CTS-V stuff.
And there is NO WAY i'd spend $400 on 1 rotor.

Well, that is just then initial purchase and then you just need to buy the disc portion and not the hat. The disc is only $263.

Re: Im installing C6 ZO6 brakes...
I dont disagree that the CTS-V brakes are nice, but i would have needed to run the 14" rotors for them as well, and for close to the same money i have 6 piston calipers instead of 4. the CTS-V had a nicer finish, but the C6 ZO6 calipers are pleasning to my eyes
I installed the drivers side yesteday after doing a little more machining to the hubs, sand blasted them and spray them with black hi temp paint to keep them rust free. also hit the rotors up and cleaned the contact surface clean. I am really happy with the way everything fits, and looks. When the snow melts and the -4* weather goes away i will be testing them out!

Re: Im installing C6 ZO6 brakes...
Biggest reason I say to keep the brembos are because the brembos actually have decent, cheap pad choices out there (the zo6 stuff is getting cheaper but you can eat through a full set in just one track day if you're aggresive; they're thin pads--I think Racing Brake has some thicker ones though) AND the brembos actually have more piston surface even comparing the 6 vs 4.
That being said, I still like my z06's. They're good for what they are. and cool looking!

I'll be following this as I'd like to make this same modification to my car down the road. Really interested in how much better the braking is.
Phenominal car by the way......any more info available?

Re: Im installing C6 ZO6 brakes...
I have the same brakes on the front of my GTA. I have a set of 17" simmons 3pc wheels that clear them. had to get a 7/8 spacer to clear the front of the caliper, but they fit inside. have not driven on them yet because the engine is not done, but I cannot wait. they are the same brackets as c5. the tire rack has dba 4000 and 5000 rotors, the 4000 are around $140 ea, I think. picture is from my Iroc, but those are the wheels.

Really? Sweet! I remember reading some guys having trouble fitting the ctsv brembos under 17's and still keeping a 14" rotor. IIRC, they had to step down to 13.5" rotors and barely cleared. Do you have pictures? That'd be cool to see.

Should the C6 ZO6 front + rear brake fit my rims:
front: 18 x 8,5 " @ 6N
rear: 18 x 9,5 " @ 6P
