Hydroboost & Wilwood M.C. NOT Bleeding
I have a problem with my Hydroboost/Wilwood 260-5555P. I have started bleeding the brakes but cannot get anything to come out and the pedal still goes down to the floor without any resistance.
What is the correct pushrod to use with a shadow master cylinder? I comes with a small one about 2" long, but they sell a longer one roughly 4" on Summit as a required part. I used the short pushrod that came with the master cylinder. Could the long pushrod be the culprit of the brakes not bleeding fluid through the lines during bleeding.
Classic Performance say the hydroboost must be used with a shadow master cylinder. I talked to a Tech at Wilwood and was told this 5555P is a shadow MC.
BTW: I do have speed bleeders.
I also bought my Hydroboost from Classic Performance and master cylinder from Summit.

Wilwood Master Cylinder:

Here is a picture of the long pushrod that summit sells as a required part, but I used the short pushrod that came with the master .

Do anyone know the fix for this problem?

Re: Hydroboost & Wilwood M.C. NOT Bleeding
I have spend a few hours on the internet searching how to install this portion of the setup. Do anybody has any idea how this works?
The Hydroboost has a pushrod (Photo #1) sticking out, but it cannot depress the master cylinder (MC (Photo #2).
The last picture shows all the parts (recess pushrod piston, long 4" Push Rod and my old push rod that came out of my vaccum power booster.
Can anyone give me a little guidance on installation of this setup?

Here is where I bought my complete setup from:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-...Q5fAccessories
You can do it cheaper with junkyard or local auto parts store and a lot of ground work. But I thought this was a pretty nice setup with all included plus the Aluminum stainless MC. This is not for our car but give him a call and he should steer you in the right direction.
