What's PBR

OK stupid question. I see them mentioned, I have them, but I don't know what the P B R in PBR brakes stands for. It has always been for Pabst Blue Ribbon beer here is Wisconsin but I really don't think that's what applies here. Thanks in advance.

Re: What's PBR

PBR is an Australian brake component manufacturer. I don't think the "PBR" stands for anything other than a brand name.

I haven't enjoyed one of "those" PBR's since I was in grad school at Purdue.

I've seen expectations of $600-$700 for used calipers, rotors and spindles. Ed Miller sells 1LE front wheel kits for that price so I'd expect to find good used pieces for at least half.
According to JamesC (thanks) I can buy from AutoZone. Current prices are 80 bucks (plus core) for a caliper.
