upgrading brakes on my '88

upgrading brakes on my '88

hi, i have a plain 2.8l camaro.plans of putting in a 350.i would like to upgrade my disc and drums to a larger size. any hints of places that sells kits. and if so any trouble installing them? also with the larger brakes the original wheels will still fit.

Was considering the same thing for my resto.
Fronts:
All inputs I got is that upgrading rotor (slotted, drilled, etc.) takes
a QUANTUM leap in expense, and performance is negligible in less
than hard road-race type situations.
There are some choices w/ respect to pads that are cost effective.
Find an intelligent counter-man, at an upper end parts store --
O'Reilly's, NAPA, or Car Quest, probably not Pep-Boys, Auto-Zone,
or Advance.
Rears:
Disc to drum conversions are not cheap, so the argument is made
to switch out the entire axle. The down-side is that it's hard to
determine condition of the other internal parts. So it becomes
more of a personal finance issue.
