Looking for other alternatives for the booster/master on my car

I went to go bolt on my booster and master with the 1le prop vavle and i wasn't expecting it to take so much away from the engine i could run it but im going to hate looking at it evertime i up open the hood! the parts are all new just panted the booster and master/prop. i plan to do 12" or 13" brakes all around with 2 piston cailpers in the near future so keeping that in mind. im looking for something its going to work with what i have now and for what im doing later on. i was planing on maybe going hydroboost. but my price range now is around $200 im looking for something smaller and sleeker that will blend into my engine bay and work with what i menchened above. so if anyone has links, ideas etc please post

This all has to go!

im in the same boat as you man, the stock one takes away to much from the nice new engine. i seen a billet master cylinder on here some where i'll try and find it again. as for the brake booster im not sure.

That master cyl looks like a manual one. IDK--would a hydro-boost work on that?? That is a Good looking paint job on those parts.

If you think that a booster is ugly... hydroboost, thats just plain nasty right there.

They make some chrome covers for the boosters for some different apps that might fit, but.. looks like a chrome cover. If you really want it clean, use something like the one above and forget about the power brakes. Manual brakes arent that big of a deal IMO.

Re: Looking for other alternatives for the booster/master on my car

There is alot of other GM boosters that will work and are smaller than the factory F body boosters and some aftermarket manufactures make some . Check with some hotrod sites and you can find some .

hydroboost is fine just get an extended polished accumulator and make your own bracket with the stock 3rd gen booster. if you drill out the rivets then pull off the bracket it fits right on the semi flat hydroboost bracket. then just cut the rod off the 3rd gen booster and cut the rod off the hydroboost and run it through a die and do the same on the piece you cut from the booster and an adjuster and then it is finished.
