Rear Caliper swap (front caliper mount to rear plate)

Hi there, i have 91 firebird with installed on it rear brake from 86 trans am . after year of using them they leak, and one of them dont have parking brake mount at all. so i have handbrake only on rear caliper and try never use it becouse sometimes it locks and need to release cable manualy. few days ago i try to put my good old front calipers to rear mouting plate and they can be installed after i cut 1*1cm corners on mounting plate. brake pads is identical now on front or rear brake. i have SSBC on front. next think that i think is piston of front caliper is more more larger than stantard rear . maby this swap will make rear brakes more better? thanks
