Is this possible? do they make like cross drilled drum brakes? or something performance for drums? it would be for low budget people that dont want to upgrade to disc

Re: Performance drum brakes
There is a company that makes a larger diameter drum & hardware kits but IDK if any for 3rd gen rears--
I forgot the comp name but I wil try to find them in 1 of my HotRod,CarCraft,or SuperChevy mags.
IIRC the drums are 11 in. but I will look for the mags in a few.
I'm sure someone has the correct answer you're looking for,but I will look.

Can't find it--will let ya know if I do

Re: Performance drum brakes
These guys look like they may have the solution:
http://www.praisedynobrake.com/
No direct install kits, but I'm sure it wouldn't take much to get it to fit on our rear.

Re: Performance drum brakes
you realize you can pickup a complete set of 4th gen ls1 style rear discs for just over 100 bux on ebay most of the time and you can swap them over without a lot of hassle, handtools and a drill?
Throwing money at trying to upgrade drums is a waste. Honestly though, the drums in good working order work pretty well.
