Problem with the system. need help
The brake light turned on, & the pedal got soft. It goes in halfway before they start to grip, & I have to press really hard for the car to stay still.
There is no leak, & the fluyd level is normal.
Im thinking is the master cilinder, but what do I know?
I want to fix it Myself, but need to be shure what the problem is.
How to fix it, & how to upgrade it while Im at it.
I have 1LE rotors & calipers all around, & stainles steel lines.
thanks for the help

check for a vacuum leak in the system. At the check valve on the booster and the lines all the way to the throttle body.
with out the proper vacuum, the pedal will get really hard and you will have poor braking. Pulled my hair out for a long time trying to figure out my braking issues and it turned out to be a vacuum leak in the side of a piece of hose.
so ideally, remove and replace the hose form the throttle body to the check valve and put a new piece on and see what happens. If it doesnt help, check to see of the check valve at the boosted holds vaccum

Pressure Differential Switch? If so, it's alerting you to a leak in one of the brake circuits.
