Reccomend Pads for C4 HD Swap

I'm working on the C4 HD swap (i started about 5 years ago!). I ordered rotors, bearings and seals. I have spindles and C4 calipers. I didn't order brake pads. I'm looking for a good pad. I drive mainly on the street but I'm hoping for some auto cross and maybe a track day this year. What do you recommend? Since its primarily street, they have to work well when cold. I have used Raybestos prostop and brutestop pads as well as bendix titanium, and liked them but never used them anywhere but on the street. What do you guys recommend?

Have you considered Hawks?

Not yet, i was looking into EBC, they are impressive. I used to use their HH pads on my bike, and i loved them. I'm going to checkout Hawks too.

Can anyone compare the hawks or others to say a raybestos brute stop or pro stop?

I put Hawk pads on my C4HD's & love them. 2 years of street driving & they are still in good shape. Stops unbelievably well & will buy another set when these finally wear out.

Fortunately the boxes are still in the garage.

They are HPS.

i have ebc yellow on my stock rotors and plan to use on my ls1 swap. i have had rotors glowing and they still bite. i like to be alittle different because everyone uses hawk. not that there is anything wrong with them.

great pads as far as im concerned(ebc)

I thought about EBC. I always liked them on my motorcycle. I ended up getting a set of raybestos Pro-Stop pads. the price was right and i always liked them. If i make it to a road course or autocross and i find they aren't up to the task i'll look at hawks and ebc again. thanks for replying.

Re: Reccomend Pads for C4 HD Swap

I put EBC brakes on my father inlaws truck and if I had the brakes to do over on the iroc I would use EBC all the way. Amazing stuff, great quality.

I am running Stillen pads on my C4 setup. Stop great, and bed in very quickly. I actually only drove the car about 1 mile since I put them on at the shop to get it moving and they stop pretty damn well. These are the pads that came with Ed Millers C4 kit when I bought it.
